Do you work well virtually Are you an inspiring team member Are you an agent for change and a constant seeker of opportunities for automation and improvements  Do you want to have influence and impact in the areas of Innovation, Talent, Continuous Improvement and Quality  If you can answer yes to these questions, then read on!    IS Solutions coexisting as part of Comcast headquarters Finance and Accounting organization and is responsible for delivering best-in-class pricing, packaging, and financial strategies, solutions, and services across all our Comcast Cable lines of business from ideation through billing; with a growth-minded, diverse, and skilled team.   Operations Solutions is one of five key functional areas of IS Solutions, with a responsibility to: 1) Lead and manage various programmatical mass change events into systems 2) Program, develop and audit code to replicate high-volume transactions allowing speed to market delivery 3) Responsible for platform migrations, security compliance and risk mitigation 4) Manage financial responsibilities for consumer services 5) Oversee customer equipment provisioning to ensure accuracy of service delivery for programming and event management 6) Manage parameters and systems for technical operations efficiencies for day-to-day house management, jobs and routing 7) Manage and maintain test environments for post-production validation of customer experience with product, applications and software 8) Intake incident management for multiple IS Solutions teams and Digital partners which includes recovery and natural disaster business needs.  As a Specialist 3, within Operations Solutions, you will work closely with business and technology teams to identify, analyze, resolve business challenges and implement mass billing changes. You will leverage technology, data, and analytics to provide insights, recommend optimizations, and implement highvisibility mass change projects. This role integrates knowledge of business priorities, serves as a key contributor in a complex environment, and leads project calls and deliverables. The Finance, Passer, Rate Event & Tech Ops team supports national implementation of annual rate events, mass change initiatives, financial support activities, and technical operations billing parameters. Knowledge of Billing Solutions and Information Systems (CSG, Amdocs Wireless CES10, Ascendon, Prepaid) Familiarity with automation technologies and principles General understanding of database technologies (Oracle/SQL) Strong analytical, problemsolving skills, and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal and external business teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery of project milestones related to annual rate events, revenue reallocations, code deletes, financial parameters, and mass change initiatives.
  • Identify risks and recommend process improvements and mitigation strategies.
  • Support largescale projects in an analytical capacity.
  • Perform activities related to:
  • Passers
  • Agent Transfers
  • Rate Changes
  • Technical Operations Billing Support
  • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related computer systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system.
  • May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data, and preparing project overview which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel etc. Recommends course of action.
  • Functions as a liaison between the client, community, and internal information technology and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
  • Interact closely with a matrixed cross-functional team, both field and corporate, to secure alignment and solution excellence.
  • Creates clearly defined and mutually agreeable success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor and measure the success of those metrics.
  • Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.
  • Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements.
  • Leads/owns direction of the project(s) with limited guidance.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong time management skills; ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Crossfunctional collaboration skills
  • Ability to write thorough and descriptive documentation
  • Ability to identify documentation gaps or propose new documentation needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Previous billing experience/knowledge (desirable)
  • SQL experience
  • AI and Process Automation experience (desirable)
