About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant - Captive Finance (Specialist) to join our growing Financial Services Team (CFS). This role is critical in supporting the evolution and optimization of the processes, and day-to-day management of our Loan Portfolio. As a key member in the CrowdStrike Financial Services organization, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to review loan contracts, prepare amortization schedules, and perform routine analysis for accurate reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining completeness & accuracy of the Loan Portfolio, performing month-end tasks, reviewing non-standard loans & modifications, and collaborating with key stakeholders in enhancing the processes & systems. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with an understanding in accounting specifically ASC 606, ASC 310, and/or ASC 835. You are detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and excel at solving complex problems. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, and you're enthusiastic by opportunities to make meaningful improvements that drive business value.

What You'll Do:

  • Review and maintain the Loan Portfolio proactively collaborating with key internal stakeholders to seek and provide guidance to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Perform month-end tasks including reconciliations of general accounts, perform SOX controls, booking journal entries, and perform ad-hoc analysis to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Support and contribute to system evolution initiatives, such as system enhancements, ERP integrations, and new configuration rollouts participate in all phases of the system development lifecycle including performing UAT and supporting go-live efforts.

  • Review and maintain non-standard loan contracts and modifications including recalculating the amortization schedule, performing impact assessments, and ensure all impacts are accounted for.

  • Support and contribute to maintaining the relevancy of all documentation maintaining policies & procedures, memorandums, and the narrative.

  • Support in audits, both internal and external, providing supporting documentations/evidence, performing ad-hoc analysis, and provide timely communication.

  • Cultivate relationships cross-functionally including FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Operations to enhance the efficiency in collaborating efforts.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance roles, with a strong experience and/or deep understanding of accounting for captive finance

  • Proficiency in enterprise financial applications, including NetSuite ERP, Salesforce (SFDC), and Tableau experience using Solifi is a strong plus.

  • Advanced Excel capabilities ability to construct complex formulas to minimize manual inputs is strongly desired.

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a proactive mindset toward process efficiency and problem-solving.

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects, delivering accurate and timely results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, with a proactive mindset and ability to manage change while considering downstream impacts on systems, data flows, and business processes.

Bonus Points:

  • Big 4 public accounting experience - tech or finance industry

  • Experience working for a high-tech, rapid-growth, or publicly traded SAAS company is preferred.

  • Building dashboards and/or working with large dataset to translate data into meaningful information.

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
