Role Description The Digital Transformation and Special Projects Engineer is a temporary, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for supporting and executing digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, and business processes, with a focus on improving efficiency, data visibility, and operational performance. Day-to-day activities include analyzing existing workflows, mapping processes, and identifying opportunities for automation and system integration. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement digital tools, dashboards, and reporting systems, and support change management and user training. The role also involves managing special projects, tracking milestones, documenting progress, and ensuring solutions are aligned with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong skills in process analysis, workflow mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
- Experience with digital tools and systems used in manufacturing or engineering environments (e.g., MES, ERP, PLM, data dashboards, or automation platforms).
- Capability in data analysis and visualization, including use of spreadsheets, BI tools, and reporting solutions to support decision-making.
- Solid understanding of engineering or industrial operations, preferably in automotive, polymer materials, or engineered components.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and tracking timelines and deliverables.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and support organizational change.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment; prior experience in digital transformation or special projects is an advantage.
