Position: Senior Attorney/Legal Academic
Type:Part-time, project-based
Compensation:$110$140/hour
Location:Remote
Duration:46 weeks
Commitment:5 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review legal documents and confirm alignment with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks.
- Validate content related to ABLE accounts, guardianship, and special needs trusts.
- Ensure correctness and clarity on Medicaid eligibility and SSI application processes.
- Provide expert feedback to improve dataset quality.
- Collaborate asynchronously and meet all deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 10+ years of experience in special needs law or related academic fields.
- Expertise in trust structures and disability benefits law.
- Advanced understanding of Medicaid and SSI regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and legal writing skills.
- Strong detail orientation.
