Role Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Educators to join our team. The ideal candidate will support students with diverse learning needs through individualized education plans, structured interventions, and ongoing collaboration with teachers and parents. This role requires patience, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group special education support to students with learning, behavioural, or developmental challenges.
- Conduct assessments to identify learning needs and monitor student progress regularly.
- Collaborate with class teachers, coordinators, and the school leadership team to ensure effective integration and support within the classroom.
- Maintain documentation, progress reports, and intervention records as required.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates and guidance on student development.
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages confidence and growth.
- Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and school events related to student support and inclusive practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Certification in Special Education (RCI or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience working with children with diverse learning needs is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Commitment to child safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
