Job Description

  • Assess students learning needs using formal and informal tools
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and materials to suit diverse learners
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction
  • Support students with conditions such as:
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder
    • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
    • Dyslexia
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, psychologists, and therapists
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly
  • Use assistive technologies and specialized teaching strategies
  • Manage classroom behavior and promote social skills
  • Conduct parent counseling and teacher training sessions

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of inclusive education practices
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Classroom and behavior management skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies creatively
