Special Education Specialist

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Specialist located in Pune. The Specialist will be responsible for assessing students individual needs, implementing tailored education plans, utilizing evidence-based strategies such as Applied Behavior Analysis, and providing personalized support. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to foster an inclusive learning environment and ensure educational progress for students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Special Education practices and principles, as well as a deep understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and other professionals
• Experience and expertise in education and teaching methodologies tailored for students with special needs
• Hands-on experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings
• Additional qualifications, such as a degree in Special Education or related fields, and relevant certifications, are highly preferred
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
