About the RoleJosh Talks is looking for a Speaker Outreach Intern to support speaker sourcing, coordination, and shoot execution.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, discovering powerful real-life stories, and coordinating projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the content and operations teams to identify inspiring speakers, manage communication, and help execute shoots smoothly.
Key ResponsibilitiesSpeaker Outreach- Identify and connect with inspiring speakers from diverse backgrounds
- Reach out to potential speakers through calls, WhatsApp, email, and social media
- Explain the opportunity clearly and manage speaker communication
- Support speaker onboarding and maintain strong relationships
Project Coordination- Coordinate shoot planning, including dates, locations, and basic logistics
- Work with internal teams across video, operations, and YouTube
- Track timelines and ensure smooth execution of planned shoots
- Follow up with speakers and teams to resolve coordination issues
Partnerships and Networking- Build relationships with colleges, NGOs, brands, local communities, and other relevant networks
- Help create a strong network for discovering meaningful stories
- Support outreach campaigns for different themes, regions, and content formats
Execution and Reporting- Work towards weekly outreach and onboarding targets
- Track speaker status, shoot progress, and completion updates
- Maintain accurate reports and share regular updates with the regional lead
Requirements- 0–2 years of experience in outreach, events, media, coordination, community work, or a related area
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English
- Comfortable speaking to new people and building relationships
- Proactive, reliable, and organized
- Willing to travel locally for meetings, coordination, and shoots as required
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Interest in real-life stories, content, media, or YouTube
Good to Have- Understanding of YouTube content, especially podcast or interview formats
- Existing network across colleges, communities, NGOs, creators, or local groups
- Good content sense and ability to identify strong stories
- Prior experience in field coordination, event execution, or creator outreach
Success Metrics- Number of relevant speakers identified and onboarded
- Timely coordination and execution of shoots
- Quality and impact of sourced stories
- Accuracy of tracking and reporting
- Smooth communication with speakers and internal teams
