Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage end-to-end replenishment planning and execution
- Maintain optimal stock levels across retail stores
- Ensure planogram creation, updates, and compliance
- Analyse stock movement, sales and availability trends
- Monitor sell-through, ageing inventory, and out-of-stock patterns
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Prepare and maintain required merchandising reports
- Own assortment depth, space allocation, and replenishment recommendations for stores
- Continuously optimize space, assortment, and stock based on performance insights
- Define and maintain merchandising standards and processes for stores
- Identify merchandising and stock risks early and proactively escalate with solutions
Key Challenges:
- Role is new and stores are new
- Set up new Planogram tool and draw up both stores
- Cross-functional teams
- Translating an online brand to a physical store
- Working with possible incomplete data
- Process ambiguity and changing priorities
- Influencing without formal authority
Skills, Know How and experience:
- 6+ years of experience in retail merchandising or replenishment
- Strong data analytical skills
- Candidates with experience in fast-paced retail environments, furniture retail brands will be preferred
- High attention to detail combined with strong execution and follow‑through
- Ability to make structured decisions with incomplete data
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions and levels
- Experience setting up or improving merchandising processes and tools
