We are looking for an experienced South Indian Chef from Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a passion for South Indian cuisine and a strong understanding of traditional cooking techniques. You will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of traditional South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, and rasam.
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of food meets the restaurant's standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Manage food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items and improve existing recipes.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in South Indian cuisine or a similar role.
  • Proficient in traditional cooking techniques and methods for South Indian dishes.
  • Strong knowledge of spices, ingredients, and cooking styles used in South Indian cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
