Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a South Indian Breakfast Chef located at Lobotus Technology's premises in Hubli. The chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality South Indian breakfast items, ensuring authentic flavors, and maintaining food hygiene standards. Daily tasks include ingredient preparation, cooking, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and collaborating with staff for menu planning to offer diverse and traditional South Indian dishes. Adherence to customer satisfaction and timely food preparation is key to this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing South Indian breakfast dishes such as dosas, idlis, vadas, upma, and chutneys
• Strong understanding of traditional South Indian culinary techniques and flavor profiles
• Experience with bulk food preparation and food quality management
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, hygiene, and safety practices
• Experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in a breakfast-focused setting
• Teamwork skills to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff
• 2-3 years of professional culinary experience specializing in South Indian cuisine
• Culinary certification or equivalent experience is a plus
• Passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences
