Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a South Chef (Commis - I/II) based in Bengaluru. The South Chef will be responsible for ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality South Indian dishes. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen, collaborating with the culinary team, and following established recipes to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for guests. The South Chef will contribute to the overall dining experience at Aldovia by showcasing expert culinary techniques and creativity.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking, particularly with South Indian cuisine
  • Strong Culinary Skills, including recipe adherence and presentation techniques
  • Understanding and adherence to Hygiene and sanitization standards in a professional kitchen
  • Effective Communication skills for collaboration with the culinary team and other staff members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Formal culinary training or certification is preferred
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on South Indian cuisine, is an added advantage
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through culinary excellence
