Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef based in Guwahati. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing meals, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly. Responsibilities include monitoring food quality and presentation, maintaining hygiene standards, training staff, assisting in menu development, and ensuring the kitchen adheres to safety regulations. The Sous Chef will also manage inventory and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Minimun three years experience in kitchen management, team supervision, and staff training.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Menu planning and creativity in developing innovative dishes and recipes
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure
• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role is highly desirable
