Sous Chef Continental Cuisine

About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef (Continental Cuisine) to join our team at Pyramid Cafe Lounge & Bar, Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in menu planning, kitchen operations, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Plan and execute Continental dishes with creativity and consistency.
- Supervise and train the kitchen team to ensure high performance and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory, control wastage, and ensure cost-effective production.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Ensure timely preparation and smooth service during operations.
- Assist in menu development and introducing new dishes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef Continental Cuisine in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, plating, and portion control.
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and multitask under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
