Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sous Chefs specialized Hyderabadi and Kashmiri cuisines, role based in Chennai. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring hygiene and safety standards, and contributing to menu planning and recipe development. The role also involves ensuring smooth kitchen operations and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver excellent dining experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
• Knowledge of inventory control, order management, and food cost management
• Commitment to maintaining strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Creativity and enthusiasm for contributing to menu development and innovative recipes
• Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and time-management skills
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
