Sous Chef / Junior Sous Chef (Western Cuisine)

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for the Sous Chef / Junior Sous Chef specializing in Western cuisine. The professional will assist in managing kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff, planning and preparing high-quality Western dishes, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards. The role also involves menu creation, cost control, inventory management, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. Collaboration with other kitchen teams and maintaining consistency in food presentation and quality are essential components of this role.

• Proficiency in preparing and presenting Western cuisine with culinary creativity and understanding of modern cooking techniques.
• Experience in kitchen operations, team supervision, food preparation, and maintaining quality and consistency in dishes.
• Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or relevant certification preferred; prior experience in a similar role in an upscale or fine dining establishment is an advantage.
