Job Description: Continental Cuisine Sous Chef
Role Overview:
Responsible for preparing, producing, and presenting Continental cuisine dishes in line with Fasta Pizza PVT LTD, ensuring high culinary quality, cost efficiency, and hygiene. The role requires operating within defined budgets and adhering strictly to company policies and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present Continental dishes to the company's standards, with strong focus on authenticity, presentation, hygiene, and cost control.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment; avoid leaving equipment in hazardous conditions.
- Maintain personal grooming and hygiene and ensure the same for all staff under supervision.
- Support the Manager / Site In-charge / Sous Chef / Senior Cook in provisioning and indenting for quality ingredients suited for Continental cuisine.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management on a daily or occasional basis.
Key Competencies & Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on culinary experience, particularly in Continental cuisine.
- Experience in a high-pressure commercial or industrial kitchen setting.
- Proven expertise in menu planning and recipe development with a Continental focus.
- Exposure to bulk cooking without compromising on authenticity and quality.
- Strong commitment to culinary excellence and food safety.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining efficiency during peak hours.
- Sound knowledge of cost control, portioning, and waste reduction.
- A creative mindset with an eye for detail in plating and presentation.
- Product Nomenclature creation related to QSR, E-Commerce, Q-Commerce, Cloud Kitchen, FMCG.
