Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef specializing in Continental cuisine for a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in meal preparation, menu planning, and quality control while ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Responsibilities include overseeing food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, training junior staff, and collaborating with the team to create innovative dishes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating of Continental cuisine
  • Menu planning, recipe development, and portion control experience
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory management
  • Team leadership, training junior staff, and effective time management skills
  • Attention to detail and creativity in crafting unique and flavorful dishes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site kitchen environment in Bengaluru
  • Formal culinary training or certification in culinary arts is a plus
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a Continental kitchen is highly desired
