Current job responsibilities – Engineering Change Management:

Responsible for handle project related to Engineering Change management.
Receiving Engineering Change request (ECR) from the plant Engineering team and process it in SAP material management tool.
Working as an intermediate between the Plant buyer and suppliers for the Document exchange process.
Exchanging documents with the suppliers who required the necessary Engineering documents or drawings as per the ECR.
Following up with the suppliers and ensure they accept the documents and receiving feedback for the same.
Documenting, coordinating and administering other project related activities and managing multiple tasks.

Designation:Purchase Engineer

Job responsibilities – Sourcing, Vendor Development & Procurement:

Identifying source and purchasing for electronic components, Raw materials, involved in the manufacturing of New Project and for regular production.
Preparation and Floating RFQ to suppliers, receiving quotation, involve in cost negotiation
and finalization.
Effectively represents the company in negotiations with vendors achieving best possible solutions which satisfy vendors and business needs.
Ensure the respect of Ethics, compliance applicable laws with suppliers.
Spearheading entire operations for cost effective procurement of materials like PCB Assy, Connectors,Wire Assemblies, relays etc.
Streamlining,Controlling and Coordinating the materials to meet daily production
Responsible for creating the shortage list against the Production plan for all components and Raw materials involved in horn & electronics products.
Monitoring the fluctuation of material cost in the market.

Identifying and developing a dedicated and alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and reduction in delivery time.
Analyzing premature failure items and discussing with suppliers for life enhancement free
replacement.
Assessing the performance of vendors based criterions such as percentage of rejections,
quality improvement rate, timely delivery and credit terms.
Coordinating with Supplier Quality Team for supplier parts PPAP.
Coordinating with Product Development for developing parts for new product.
Key Member in new product development and monitor the supplier development timing
plan towards project completion
Verify PPAP submissions are accurate and represent acceptable production ready product
per design intent.
