With a focus on East Africa as a starting point, Zeno is building a new energy ecosystem with ground-up development of a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated battery swap network to drive a better experience for our customers.

The Role

Zeno is seeking a Supply Chain Manager Standard Parts to own and drive end-to-end supply chain execution for standard / catalogue parts critical to electric motorcycle production. This role is mission-critical to ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing, optimal inventory levels, strong supplier performance, and scalable supply chain processes as Zeno ramps from pilot to volume production.

You will work closely with manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, quality, programs, and finance teams, while managing suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You'll Do

Sourcing & Development : Source new suppliers for standard & built to print parts from fastener and similar category of parts. Develop & finalize the costing for the same

End-to-End Supply Chain Ownership: Own planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, and inbound logistics for all standard / catalogue parts.

Demand & Material Planning: Translate production plans and forecasts into executable supply plans using ERP/MRP systems. Define safety stock, reorder points, and inventory norms.

Supplier Performance Management: Drive supplier OTIF, quality, cost, and responsiveness. Monitor and improve supplier scorecards and escalation mechanisms.

Inventory & Cost Optimization: Improve inventory turns, reduce excess & obsolete inventory, optimize MOQs, freight, and working capital.

Logistics & Warehousing: Manage inbound logistics, warehousing, and material flow to support smooth plant operations and prevent line stoppages.

Risk Mitigation: Identify supply risks proactively and implement mitigation plans including alternate suppliers, buffers, and expediting strategies.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with manufacturing, production planning, sourcing, quality, engineering, and program teams to ensure supply readiness aligned with launch and ramp-up milestones.

NPI & Ramp Support: Support new product introduction, localization, and volume ramp by ensuring readiness of standard parts supply.

Process & Systems: Establish scalable supply chain SOPs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms suitable for multi-country expansion.

What You Bring

710 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, or operations within automotive, EV, or manufacturing industries.

Strong experience managing standard / catalogue parts supply chains in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Solid understanding of inventory planning, logistics, warehousing, and MRP-driven execution.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Odoo.

Proven ability to work with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners across multiple regions of India.

Experience supporting NPI, ramp-up, and high-growth manufacturing operations.
