Job Description Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sourcing Specialist with 8-12 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, cost reduction initiatives, and supply chain management. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted material availability, resolving supply shortages, improving supplier performance, and driving overall procurement efficiency and cost optimization.

Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
- Manage supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor development
- Resolve material shortage and supply chain issues to avoid production impact
- Develop alternate sources and localization opportunities
- Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
- Ensure timely material availability and procurement efficiency
- Support continuous improvement in sourcing and supply chain processes
Key KPIs
- Cost savings achievement
- Material shortage closure
- Supplier delivery performance
- Lead time reduction
- Supplier quality improvement
- Alternate vendor development
Qualification
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical, EEE)from an accredited university or college with at least 8 years of experience in job family / Functions.
- MBA/Supply Chain specialization an added advantages.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems.
- Excellent communication and supplier management skills.
- Ability to handle critical supply situations and multitask effectively.
