Sourcing Specialist

The gist

Every great brand starts with something great in a bottle, jar or sachet. You'll be the one who finds it. At Meolaa, we're building a house of brands and we need someone who can sniff out the best ingredients, packaging, and manufacturers before anyone else does.

What you'll actually do

• Find and vet suppliers: raw materials, fragrance oils, packaging, contract manufacturers
• Negotiate prices, MOQs and lead times like it's a sport
• Run sample rounds with R&D and brand teams. Track what works, bin what doesn't
• Keep a live supplier database. No more who was that vendor again
• Check quality, compliance and certifications (BIS, CDSCO, cruelty-free, clean claims)
• Chase POs, deliveries and delays so launches don't slip
• Keep an eye out for new ingredients, trends and cheaper, better alternatives
• Build backup vendors for everything. Single-supplier risk is not our vibe

You're a fit if

• You've got 2-4 years in sourcing or procurement, ideally in beauty, personal care, wellness, or D2C
• You know your actives from your emollients (or learn fast)
• You're comfy with Excel/Sheets and numbers: cost sheets, landed cost, margins
• You negotiate well without burning bridges
• You follow up. Then follow up again
• You're curious about what's trending in clean beauty and wellness

Bonus points

• Existing network of fragrance, packaging or contract manufacturing vendors
• Experience with import/export or China/EU sourcing
• You've been part of a product launch from brief to shelf
