What You'll Do:
- Assist in sourcing raw materials, trims, and finished goods from vendors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate sampling, approvals, and timely follow-ups with suppliers to keep product development on track.
- Support cost negotiations and lead time management to meet brand and business objectives.
- Maintain accurate vendor and supplier databases, including purchase orders, status reports, and Time & Action (T&A) plans.
- Track and monitor production timelines for both in-house and FOB vendors, escalating potential delays proactively.
- Collaborate closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions from concept to delivery.
- Assist with documentation and communication across teams and vendors to ensure clarity and transparency in sourcing operations.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, or related fields.
- Freshers or 12 years of relevant experience in sourcing or merchandising within the fashion or apparel industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build trusted vendor relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP, PLM, or sourcing tools is a plus.
- Passionate about fashion, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced sourcing and merchandising environment.
