Job Title : Sourcing Manager

Job Location : HSR Layout, Bangalore (on-site)

Role Overview

A critical leadership role responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class global sourcing engine-driving agility, competitiveness, and innovation across the supply chain.

This role owns end-to-end sourcing strategy, vendor ecosystem, and execution excellence across development, commercialization, and production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing Strategy & Vendor Ecosystem

  • Lead and scale Blissclub's global sourcing network across SEA, SWA, and India
  • Build a robust, future-ready vendor panel across all product categories
  • Leverage strong industry network to identify, pitch, and onboard high-potential vendor partners at speed
  • Establish clear vendor evaluation frameworks (test phase scale readiness long-term partnership)

2. Cost Leadership & Open Costing

  • Own cost competitiveness across all sourcing markets
  • Drive open costing frameworks with deep cost breakdowns (fabric, trims, CM, overheads)
  • Build negotiation strategies backed by independent cost structures, not vendor-led inputs
  • Strong understanding of duty structures, trade routes, and regional cost arbitrage

3. Material & Product Expertise

  • Strong command over synthetic sourcing and performance fabrics
  • Deep knowledge of raw material ecosystems across China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and India
  • Enable product excellence through better materials, construction, and supplier capability

4. Capacity & Supply Planning

  • Manage supplier capacity at factory & style level aligned to growth plans
  • Ensure speed, flexibility, and scalability in supply
  • Anticipate risks and build backup strategies across regions/vendors

5. Development, Commercialization & Production Leadership

  • Accountable for end-to-end execution at supplier level
  • Lead development commercialization production lifecycle
  • Drive faster GTM timelines by identifying bottlenecks and solving structurally
  • Ensure all quality, costing, and operational standards are consistently met

6. Product Success & Launch Excellence

  • Improve hit-rate of launches (sales, returns, reviews) through sourcing excellence
  • Partner cross-functionally to elevate product quality and speed-to-market

7. Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Act as a brand ambassador to all vendor partners
  • Build strong relationships with factory leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Enable quick decision-making and issue resolution through alignment

8. Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead and develop high-performing sourcing, development, and production teams
  • Drive coaching, capability building, and team engagement
  • Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement

9. Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Challenge existing systems and drive process optimization
  • Implement scalable frameworks and tools for sourcing excellence
  • Bring a bold, problem-solving mindset to transform operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 10+ years in global sourcing / manufacturing / supply chain
  • Strong experience in apparel (bottom wear, sports bras, performance wear)
  • Proven track record in vendor development, costing, and scale operations

Core Skills

  • Deep expertise in open costing & negotiation
  • Strong understanding of synthetic fabrics and global material sourcing
  • Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
  • Strong analytical and operational thinking
  • High ownership with ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering / Product / Supply Chain or related fields
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and data-driven decision making
