What You'll Do
In this position the incumbent will be accountable for Strategic sourcing activities for the site in line with the Eaton standard sourcing process (ESSP). The person will be responsible to drive pricing and supplier strategy, controlling price variances, supplier selection and on-boarding and handling supplier risks management.
- Strong knowledge and experience on Strategic sourcing.
- Good understanding of local supply base on PCB assemblies, Bare PCB, injection molding, stampings, fabrication, Electronics etc.
- Responsible for the end-to-end sourcing, contracting, and performance management of all third-party suppliers across categories such as events and trade shows, food and beverages, facilities management, administrative services, and miscellaneous indirect services.
- Execute the sourcing strategy and execution for third-party Direct, Indirect materials & service categories such as events and trade shows, food and beverage, facility and office support services, and other indirect services.
- Conduct market analysis, supplier selection, RFQs, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation
- Maintain strong, value-driven relationships with vendors to ensure performance, innovation, and adherence to Eaton's standards.
- Build strong, trust-based working relationships with functional and business leaders to drive shared accountability for supplier performance, timely approvals, and overall service delivery.
- Proactively identify risks and work on supply chain resilience and Business continuity management - Tools management, supplier financial stability etc.
- Conduct periodic assessments on Material Management activities to ensure we are in compliance with the Eaton's global sourcing strategies.
- Provide timely support for NPI through Eaton standard Supplier Selection & onboarding process.
- Responsible for Master Supplier Agreement - Direct & Indirect suppliers and Tail spend management.
- Conduct Quarterly Business review with the suppliers to ensure long-term supplier relationship.
- Accountable for Pricing strategy for the site and to ensure accurate Purchase Info record (PIR) management
Qualifications
Any Bachelor or Masters degree in Engg.
15 years in Strategic Sourcing
Skills
- Strong Knowledge on SAP.
- Strong Techno-commercial knowledge in handling Stamped parts, machining,Plastic Injection Molding,Electronic, PCB,PCBA commodities is prefered.
- Good industrial experience in handling Domestic and Imports suppliers. Relationship management with Contractors, suppliers and other Stakeholders.
- Good Negotiation skills.
