We're looking for a hands-on Sourcing Executive who is curious, organised, and excited to learn how products are builtfrom idea to finished goods.
Role Overview
As a Sourcing Executive you will work closely with the design, merchandising, and operations teams to manage vendors, source new products and materials, track samples and production, and ensure smooth coordination across the supply chain.
This is an entry-level role (1-2 years of experience), ideal for someone who wants real exposure to product development, manufacturing, and vendor management in a fast-growing brand.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Coordinate with existing vendors for sampling, pricing, timelines, and production updates
- Support onboarding of new vendors aligned with EcoRight's quality and sustainability standards
- Maintain vendor records, quotes, MOQs, lead times, and certifications
Sourcing & Product Development
- Source new products, materials, trims, and finishes based on design briefs
- Assist in sample developmenttracking revisions, approvals, and timelines
- Work closely with designers to understand materials, prints, construction, and finishes
Trend & Market Research
- Track product, material, print, and design trends across Indian and global markets
- Research competitors, marketplaces, and exhibitions for sourcing inspiration
- Share trend insights with the design and product teams
Production & Operations Support
- Coordinate with vendors on production timelines, dispatch schedules, and documentation
- Track sampling and production status to ensure on-time deliveries
- Liaise with logistics partners for transport, dispatches, and inward material tracking
- Support basic QC coordination and issue resolution
Internal Coordination
- Work with internal teams on costing, timelines, and production planning
- Maintain trackers for samples, production, and deliveries
- Assist in day-to-day sourcing and operations tasks as required
Requirements
Education
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Production, or related field
- Candidates from a fashion, textile, or design background preferred
Experience
- 02 years of experience (freshers welcome)
- Internship experience in sourcing, merchandising, or production is a plus
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of fabrics, materials, prints, and trims
- Interest in product development and manufacturing processes
- Good organisational and coordination skills
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for trackers
- Clear communication skills (email, WhatsApp, calls with vendors)
Mindset & Traits
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Detail-oriented and comfortable handling multiple tasks
- Willing to follow up and take ownership of timelines
- Interest in sustainability and ethical manufacturing is a bonus
