Sourcing Executive

Job description :

1. Source the most frequently ordered consumable products.
2. Analyse and calculate the procurement costs and develop cost-reduction strategies.
3. Support the team in finding the correct vendors, such as authorized distributors and wholesalers.
4. Compile the collected data, which includes images, product descriptions, IMPA codes, and any other relevant information. 
5. Compare the price available on various platforms against our own vendor prices.
6. Collate all information including transportation charges (if any) and update the records in the Excel sheet.
7. Efficiently manage the vendor database and keep it updated for reference at all times.
8. Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, without compromising quantity, service, and quality.
9. Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships with all suppliers, vendors, wholesalers, and authorized distributors on a Pan India basis.

General Competencies:

• Must be aware about Marine industry products (Preferable).
• Must be mandatorily from Marine, Shipping industry.
• Must have Knowledge of IMPA code
• Should be able to manage store inventory.
• Knowledge of inward, outward is must.
• Must have good Command over MS excel. Must be able to analyze and present data.
• Must have knowledge of local market (Mumbai) wrt to electrical, technical items.
• Should have dealt with products used for Vessel operations, deck store, engine store, consumables store etc,.
• Should have good Vendor and quality management skills.
• Should preferably have experience in dispatch and quality control. 

Attributes :

1. Must have a Bachelor's Degree, in any discipline
2. Should have an age of 25+ of Years.
3. Must have at least 3 years working experience.
4. Should have minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sourcing, vendor management, store, inventory management.
5. Must be proficient in verbal and written communication.
6. Good product category knowledge including HSN. Knowledge of creating product titles and attributes. 
7. Good negotiation skills and command over cold calls.
8. Good knowledge of technical items, hand tools and Spare parts in Ship stores.
9. Must have Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
10. Must have experience/familiarity with ERP usage and general digital operations.

Salary budget - Upto 4.20 LPA CTC (Competitive and Commensurate with the individual's credentials, experience and previous pay scale)
