We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Engineer to join our growing team in Vadodara.

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Experience: 7–10 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Time: 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Role Overview

The Sourcing Engineer will be responsible for global vendor sourcing, supplier development, procurement, vendor audits, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely availability of quality materials supporting manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage sourcing activities including market research, global vendor identification, supplier development, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations. Conduct supplier audits and evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and compliance standards.

Handle procurement of materials from local and overseas suppliers while coordinating closely with Design, Quality, Materials, and Manufacturing teams. Develop strong supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials meeting defined quality requirements.

Perform vendor inspections, provide dispatch clearances, and ensure accurate shipment documentation. Coordinate with freight forwarders for cost-effective and timely transportation of materials while maintaining continuity of supply to support production schedules.

Collaborate with stakeholders at our principal's plant in the USA and support procurement activities across international operations.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor development, and supply chain management within engineering or manufacturing industries. Exposure to global suppliers, vendor negotiations, supplier audits, and international procurement processes will be highly preferred.
