In the role of Sourcing and Category Representative, a typical day involves working closely with both internal teams and external clients to create effective sourcing and category strategies. This position requires leading the supplier selection process, overseeing formal bidding activities, and managing contract negotiations. The role also includes implementing sourcing and procurement solutions to streamline procurement workflows and control spending, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements. Collaboration and coordination across various stakeholders are key to driving successful procurement outcomes and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
- Facilitate effective communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering professional growth.

- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement Solutions.
- This position is based at our Gurugram client office and requires to work from client location 3 days / week
