Role
As a Senior/Staff Engineer at SISC, you will design and build large-scale backend systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
You will play a key role in ensuring service reliability, scalability, and quality, while actively contributing to coding and technical & Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Debug complex issues in distributed systems and ensure reliability.
- Lead peer reviews, maintain coding standards, and guide junior engineers.
- Support and improve live services with strong ownership.
- Drive initiatives to enhance scalability, performance, and :
- 8- 12 years of backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS.
- Solid experience with distributed, high-volume systems.
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Hands-on with CI/CD (Jenkins) and caching technologies Redis or Similar.
- Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in payments system is a must.
