SOLUTIONS TESTING ENGINEER

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Testing Engineer based in India.

The Solutions Testing Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for validating the security, integrity, and performance of complex network infrastructures. The role focuses on testing modern multi-cloud and hybrid environments against rigorous security and compliance standards. You will design sophisticated testing strategies, automate validation workflows, and assess network configurations across diverse technologies and vendors. The position offers significant ownership in strengthening security posture, network resilience, and operational reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate and deploy solutions across complex environments. This is an opportunity to apply advanced expertise in cloud networking, cybersecurity, automation, and compliance at scale. Accountabilities

• Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies aligned with CIS Benchmarks and NIST Frameworks to validate security posture and compliance.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline testing processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Evaluate network configurations across multi-vendor environments, applying advanced networking and security principles.
• Assess VPC and VNet architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring secure and resilient cloud networking implementations.
• Analyze firewall configurations and optimize rules to strengthen network segmentation and reduce the overall attack surface.
• Continuously monitor and validate security posture management tools to identify vulnerabilities and support timely remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to test, validate, and deploy solutions across diverse multi-vendor network environments.
  
  

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT services, with strong expertise in network security, infrastructure testing, and technical validation.
• Advanced knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and NIST Frameworks, with practical experience applying security compliance and auditing standards.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, particularly for developing automated testing and validation solutions.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, Security+, or CEH, or equivalent advanced technical expertise.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud networking technologies, including AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and GCP VPC.
• Deep expertise in firewall configuration, network segmentation, security controls, and attack-surface reduction.
• Proven experience managing and securing complex multi-vendor network environments and working with security posture management solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to operate effectively in technically complex environments.
