Solutions Manager

We are looking for an experienced Solution Manager – Digital Platforms and AI

Solutions with a strong background in technical program management, digital

platform operations, CMS expertise, technical solutioning, and emerging

technology.

The role will support the Digital Experience function in managing multiple

workstreams across the corporate website and digital experience ecosystem,

including platform operations, business enhancements, CMS activities, integrations,

modernization initiatives, AI-enabled capabilities, and security and technology

dependencies.

The candidate should be able to translate business problems into practical

technical solutions, coordinate execution across multiple internal and external

teams, manage operational priorities and dependencies, and ensure initiatives

progress from requirement definition through implementation and stabilization.

The role requires an individual with prior hands-on technology experience who has

progressed into program ownership, technical solutioning, operational

management, and cross-functional coordination. The candidate should also

demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to identify opportunities to improve

platform scalability, operational efficiency, digital experience, and business impact.

This is not a core development role; however, the candidate must retain sufficient

technical depth to review architecture and implementation approaches, guide

development teams and partners, troubleshoot complex issues, and evaluate

emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple digital platform programs and operational workstreams

covering website enhancements, business requirements, CMS operations,

integrations, platform improvements, modernization, and technology initiatives.

• Own end-to-end coordination of assigned initiatives from requirement

understanding and current-state technical assessment through solutioning,

planning, implementation, testing, release, and post-launch stabilization.

• Translate business requirements and operational challenges into structured,

scalable, secure, maintainable, and technically feasible solutions across

enterprise websites, digital platforms, CMS capabilities, integrations, and AIenabled

solutions.

• Evaluate technical approaches, solution designs, architecture options,

implementation estimates, risks, dependencies, and delivery plans proposed by

internal development teams and external technology partners.

• Manage ongoing CMS and website operations, ensuring BAU activities,

enhancements, releases, platform changes, dependencies, and business

support requirements are appropriately prioritized and coordinated.

• Identify operational gaps, recurring issues, process inefficiencies, and delivery

constraints, and recommend improvements to enhance platform reliability,

scalability, and operational efficiency.

• Identify architectural limitations, technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and

technology dependencies, and recommend appropriate solutions to improve

platform performance, scalability, maintainability, and resilience.

• Support strategic planning and contribute to the evolution of the digital

platform roadmap by evaluating business priorities, technology opportunities,

platform dependencies, modernization requirements, and emerging

capabilities.

• Provide technical guidance and oversight for Drupal-based platforms,

including enterprise architecture, CMS capabilities, custom development

oversight, integrations, upgrades, APIs, headless architectures, and

modernization initiatives without operating as a full-time/core developer.

• Support headless and API-driven digital architectures and work closely with

frontend, backend, architecture, infrastructure, security, and integration teams

to ensure effective implementation and alignment with enterprise standards.

• Identify and drive opportunities to apply Generative AI, agentic AI, automation,

and emerging technologies across digital experiences, search, personalization,

content operations, platform workflows, and enterprise business processes.

• Design, develop, guide, or support the creation of AI proofs of concept, AI

agents, prototypes, and AI-enabled workflows aligned with defined business

and digital requirements.

• Evaluate AI and emerging technology solutions for technical feasibility,

business relevance, accuracy, reliability, security, scalability, governance,

maintainability, and operational readiness.

• Guide development teams and external technology partners, challenge

technical recommendations as needed, and ensure proposed solutions align

with the agreed architecture, enterprise standards, business requirements, and

platform strategy.

• Coordinate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Analytics, SEO,

development teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other partners to

manage and resolve technical, operational, and delivery dependencies.

• Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex

application, CMS, platform, performance, integration, and operational issues.

• Maintain appropriate technical and operational documentation that covers

solution approaches, architectural decisions, workflows, dependencies, risks,

implementation requirements, operational procedures, and key platform

knowledge.

• Clearly communicate program status, technical solutions, architectural

recommendations, AI concepts, implementation approaches, risks,

dependencies, and strategic opportunities to business stakeholders, senior

management, and leadership.

Technical Expertise and Experience

• Strong experience working with Drupal-based enterprise platforms, including

Drupal architecture, development oversight, configuration management,

content architecture, modules, integrations, upgrades, APIs, and dependency

management.

• Experience working with enterprise CMS platforms and large-scale digital

websites with complex business, technology, integration, and operational

requirements.

• Strong understanding of traditional, decoupled, and headless CMS

architectures, API-driven content delivery models, and modern digital platform

architecture.

• Good understanding of modern web technologies and architectures, including

React, Next.js, Node.js, PHP, REST APIs, and related frontend/backend

integration patterns.

• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and

enterprise AI application development, including practical experience with AI

agents and agentic workflows.

• Understanding of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG),

embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and related AI architecture

patterns.

• Experience integrating LLMs and AI capabilities with enterprise applications,

APIs, CMS platforms, search systems, workflow platforms, and enterprise data

sources.

• Ability to develop or guide AI proofs of concept and evaluate AI solutions from

accuracy, reliability, security, scalability, governance, operational readiness,

and business-value perspectives.

• Exposure to OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent enterprise AI platforms

would be preferred.

• Working knowledge of cloud-hosted enterprise applications, preferably across

AWS and/or Azure environments.

• Good understanding of CI/CD, enterprise application environments,

infrastructure dependencies, application performance, deployment models,

security controls, and operational support requirements.

Experience and Qualification

• 9–10 years of overall technology experience with a strong foundation in

enterprise web application development and digital platforms.

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience working with Drupal or similar enterprise

CMS platforms.

• Prior hands-on development experience, with demonstrated progression into

technical leadership, solutioning, architecture, or technical management

responsibilities.

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise websites, CMS platforms, or

digital experience applications.

• Demonstrable experience in AI/GenAI projects, AI agents, prototypes,

intelligent search, automation, or related AI-enabled capabilities.

• Experience guiding development teams and working with external vendors or

implementation partners.

• Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders, senior management,

and leadership teams.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology,

Engineering, or a related discipline.
