About Gnani Speech AI Platform

Gnani Speech AI platform that enables developers and enterprises to integrate high-accuracy, low-latency speech recognition, text-to-speech, and voice intelligence capabilities into their applications. We serve customers across fintech, healthcare, edtech, and enterprise SaaS — helping them build voice-first experiences at scale.

As we grow our developer ecosystem and enterprise customer base, we are looking for a Solutions Engineer who can sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success.

Role Overview

As a Solutions Engineer (SE) at Gnani, you will be the trusted technical advisor for prospective and existing customers integrating our Speech AI API. You will own the technical dimension of the sales cycle, guide customers through proof-of-concept builds, lead ASR/TTS benchmarking evaluations to establish accuracy baselines, diagnose integration challenges, and champion customer needs back to the product and engineering teams.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role — you will be the face of Gnani's technical credibility.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Technical Discovery

  • Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery calls and qualify opportunities based on architectural fit.
  • Understand customer use cases in depth — contact centre AI, voice bots, transcription pipelines, accessibility tools, etc.
  • Deliver compelling technical demonstrations of the Gnani Speech AI API tailored to each prospect's stack and goals.
  • Design and scope proof-of-concept (PoC) integrations and guide customers through successful evaluation.
  • Travel to customer sites and industry events as required to support pre-sales engagements and build relationships.

Integration & Technical Support

  • Provide hands-on support for customer onboarding — from API key setup through to production-grade deployment.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across REST, WebSocket, SDK, and streaming interfaces.
  • Write sample code, integration guides, and reference implementations in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, or Go.
  • Assess the ASR and TTS accuracy levels customers are achieving in their deployments and provide actionable recommendations to improve recognition quality and speech output.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for the Customer Success team on complex issues.

Customer & Market Feedback Loop

  • Synthesise customer feedback and benchmarking insights into actionable product requirements for Engineering and Product.
  • Track recurring integration pain points and proactively create documentation or tooling to address them.
  • Represent Gnani at developer events, hackathons, webinars, and technical workshops — with willingness to travel for key engagements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product to shape the developer experience, API design, and SDK roadmap.
  • Work with Marketing to produce technical content — blog posts, tutorials, case studies, and API documentation.
  • Contribute to RFP / RFI responses by articulating Gnani's technical capabilities and differentiation.

What We Look For

Must-Have

  • 3–6 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Developer Advocacy, or Technical Pre-Sales role — ideally at an API or developer-platform company.
  • Solid hands-on coding ability in at least one of: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Go.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, streaming audio pipelines, and OAuth 2.0 / API key authentication.
  • Demonstrated experience building or integrating speech, audio, NLP, or AI/ML APIs.
  • Ability to assess ASR/TTS accuracy in real-world deployments and recommend configuration, tuning, or architectural changes to improve outcomes.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly for both developer and executive audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write clean docs and present confidently.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to customer sites, conferences, or regional offices.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with telephony integrations (Twilio, Vonage, Asterisk) or contact centre platforms (Genesys, Cisco).
  • Knowledge of audio codecs (PCM, µ-law, Opus, MP3) and streaming protocols (WebRTC, SIP).
  • Exposure to MLOps concepts — model fine-tuning, language model adaptation, or custom vocabulary.
  • Prior experience in a startup or early-stage product environment.
  • Multilingual capability is a plus given Gnani's focus on diverse language markets.

15 Days

Deep-dive into the Gnani API, internal tools, and existing customer base. Shadow 5+ sales calls, complete your first solo PoC build, and run your first ASR benchmark using our standard test suite.

30 Days

Independently lead technical evaluations end-to-end, contribute one integration guide to the developer docs, and become the go-to escalation for 2+ key accounts.

2 Months

Have a measurable positive impact on technical win rates, contribute to the product roadmap with well-documented customer insights, and mentor junior team members.
