Solutions Engineer - 1 - GTD - BLR

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering. Computer Science is preferred.
• Good understanding of data structures.
• 1-3 years of experience in writing automation scripts in Python and Javascript.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries
• Good communication skills with experience in presenting data driven insights
• A never ending desire to grow and learn.
• You understand programming logic and software well.
• You are smart enough to figure out the details with broad guiding principles.
• You have systematic problem solving skills coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
• You are inherently curious and believe any process can be improved upon and actively work on it.
• Having knowledge of REST APIs is plus.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the project management team in designing technical solutions for multiple projects and ensure their efficacy.
• Analyzing current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve.
• Prioritizing incoming technical issues. Perform a root cause analysis for these issues. Escalate issues (when required) to the appropriate engineer. You will also identify and provide timely workarounds and solutions when possible.
• Articulating features and differentiate solutions product offerings to audiences ranging from project managers to end clients.
• Working with the clients to help them integrate platform/tool APIs.
• Driving operational efficiency by writing scripts APIs (Python, JS) to automate day to day work.
• Working closely with software engineers and product management team to understand new product capabilities and identify, prioritize and fix customer issues or code bugs.
• Documenting the technology solutions in precise detail for them to be reproducible in the future.
• Work closely with Software Engineering team to come up with efficient optimal solutioning of complex use cases.
