Job Position: Solution Architect

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Pune

Experience: 10 to 12+ Years

Responsibility

• Architect Azure-based solutions using API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, etc.

• Define Target Architecture and align solution designs with enterprise standards.

• Contribute to architecture activities on Aldermore's programmers of work, working alongside our internal and external engineers.

• Modernize legacy banking systems into cloud-native architectures.

• Collaborate with product delivery leads, Programme managers and other stakeholders to provide the Target Architecture Definition to inform what we build.

• Ensure operational viability of the solution architectures defined.

• Ensure alignment of the Solution Designs with the Target Architecture.

• Support alignment across technology leadership, share experiences and discover improved ways of working.

• Encourage an inclusive and collaborative culture giving everyone an opportunity to make a difference and have fun.

• Ensure our architecture and documentation meet expected standards and best practices to support a high quality of service.

• Ensure appropriate prioritisation of high-impact architecture deliverables, enabling Agile delivery and at pace.

• Help evaluate new technologies and vendors to enable greater business value.

• Support effective architecture and design governance.

Required

• Experience with developing integration solutions and architecting a service-oriented solution.

• Experience with defining and enhancing architectures that include multiple SaaS providers.

• Experience in producing Cloud Native solutions (especially Azure and AWS).

• Understanding monolithic architectures to support legacy transformation.

• Experience working in a regulated environment and implementing appropriate Governance, Risk and Compliance processes.

• Familiar with integration patterns.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and non-technical language.

• Strong organizational skills.

Desirable

• Experience providing informal mentoring/coaching to architects.

• Demonstrable facilitation and negotiation skills.

• Experience developing in programming languages and building APIs.

Education:

• B. Tech or equivalent IT Degree.
