Position: Solution Architect - B2B

Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Semi Hybrid Mode (4days work from office) and (1 day work from home (either Monday or Wednesday or Friday)) in a week

Role Overview:

As a Solution Architect - B2B, you will define the architecture and design of our B2B platforms, ensuring systems are highly scalable, secure, and automation-ready. You will focus on creating robust, maintainable technical solutions that support current business needs and enable future growth.

You will collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and architects to ensure that architecture meets business requirements while supporting long-term scalability and flexibility.

This is a strategic architecture role responsible for defining the architectural vision, establishing standards, and ensuring governance, while enabling the delivery function to successfully execute that vision.

Job Description:

• Design scalable, maintainable technical solutions for B2B platforms, including ERP/CRM integrations, Microservices-based applications, API-based integrations, Event-driven systems and workflows
• Own the architecture of B2B systems, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and can evolve with future needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Define and enforce microservice architecture patterns, domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture, and API architecture best practices.
• Guide solution design decisions, leveraging cloud services (preferably GCP) to ensure scalable and future-ready systems.
• Mentor technical leads and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends in B2B eCommerce to drive innovation.
• Coordinate with architects from other domains to ensure enterprise-wide architectural alignment.
• Document architecture decisions, design patterns, and standards to enable team alignment and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Over 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in the e-commerce sector (B2B or B2C).
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture & system design, with strong exposure to distributed systems.
• Experience with any major e-commerce plateform (SFCC, Intershop, Shopify) with strong understanding of e-commerce domain.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, including service design, orchestration, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS) and capability to design solution using cloud services.
• Strong knowledge is database schema design using SQL or NO SQL databases
• Strong expertise in API architecture and versioning strategies to support scalable, maintainable integrations.
• Strong understanding of API architecture for integration and scalability.
• Experience with AI-based customer service workflows (chatbots, automated email responses, RAG knowledge retrieval).
• Knowledge of cloud services (preferably GCP) for solution design.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and automation.
• Excellent solution design, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and governance of architecture standards.
• Agile mindset and strong communication skills, able to present architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
