Solution Architect - Retail ERP

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - Retail ERP to drive the design, integration, and evolution of enterprise retail platforms. In this role, you will bridge business and technology, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across ERP, POS, CRM, and related retail systems.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration, real-time data synchronization, and operational excellence across retail business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into solution architectures and technical designs.
• Design and implement scalable integration solutions across ERP, POS, CRM, Finance, and other enterprise applications.
• Define and maintain end-to-end architecture, ensuring system interoperability, data consistency, security, scalability, and performance.
• Drive solution design reviews, technical governance, and architecture best practices across projects.
• Lead system integration initiatives using APIs, middleware platforms, messaging frameworks, and cloud integration services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges related to integrations, data synchronization, security, and performance.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, including solution designs, integration patterns, data mappings, API specifications, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or a similar enterprise application architecture role.
• Strong understanding of Retail Business Processes, including ERP, Point of Sale (POS), CRM, Inventory, and Financial Operations.
• Experience working with Microsoft ERP platforms; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, event-driven architectures, and middleware solutions.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of ETL frameworks, data integration patterns, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Understanding of cloud-based architecture and integration services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business users and leadership teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.
• Exposure to Retail Digital Transformation and Omnichannel commerce ecosystems.
• Experience leading architecture discussions and technology modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks related to enterprise applications.
• Project management and delivery governance experience.
