Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect with 10+ years of experience in IT services and consulting, possessing strong expertise in solution design, technical pre-sales, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Python, and related technologies, coupled with a proven ability to craft and deliver innovative technical solutions that address complex client needs. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and business acumen to drive successful engagements and win new business opportunities.

Solution Architecture & Technical Expertise

  • Design, architect, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using technologies such as Java, Python, and associated frameworks.
  • Evaluate client requirements and create comprehensive technical solutions, including system design, architecture diagrams, and proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement best practices for application development, cloud deployment, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Ensure the proposed solutions adhere to industry standards, security guidelines, and scalability requirements.
  • Provide technical oversight during project implementation to ensure alignment with the proposed architecture.

Pre-Sales & Proposal Development

  • Partner with the sales and business development teams to qualify leads and identify technical and business needs of prospective clients.
  • Develop and present tailored technical proposals, SOWs (Statements of Work), RFP responses, and solution demonstrations.
  • Conduct product demos, workshops, and technical walkthroughs to showcase the value proposition of solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create technical content, whitepapers, and case studies to support pre-sales activities.
  • Analyze competitors solutions to ensure differentiation and competitive advantage in proposals.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and solution design phases.
  • Foster strong client relationships by delivering impactful technical insights and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead discussions with client stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and C-level executives, to gain buy-in and build trust.
  • Provide technical recommendations to help clients achieve their strategic objectives, positioning the organization as a trusted advisor.

Thought Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Java, Python, and emerging technologies, such as AI/ML, Generative AI, Blockchain, and Cloud Computing.
  • Contribute to the organization's thought leadership initiatives by publishing blogs, whitepapers, and participating in industry forums.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance pre-sales effectiveness and solution delivery.

Technical Expertise

  • Proficient in Java, Python, and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django, Flask).
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and serverless architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible.
  • Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data integration strategies.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Generative AI, and Blockchain is a plus.

Pre-Sales Skills

  • Demonstrated success in crafting and delivering winning proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify client pain points and translate them into innovative technical solutions.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation abilities to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or PMP) are highly desirable.
