Locations: Noida / Bengaluru

We are seeking a Solution Architect (cloud architect) to design, describe and help guide the delivery of changes to processes and systems. Your job will be to identify the best technical solutions to business problems, coordinate impact analysis and technical sizing for new initiatives as well as create specifications according to which the solution is defined, phased, managed and delivered. Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders, business analysts and enterprise architects to assess the current process and technology landscape
• Design specific solutions that best fit the environment and requirements of various stakeholders addressing business, application, data and infrastructure considerations
• Shape the future architectural roadmap for the business
• Translate technical project details and communicate to management and non-technical stakeholders
• Undertake technology assessment and selection
• Participate in solution delivery governance and resulting architecture change management
• Resolve technical problems as they arise
• Research current and emerging platforms and technologies

Skills and Experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software or systems development and/or architecture design
• Pro-active, problem solving attitude and ability to quickly learn and employ new technologies
• Sound knowledge of a broad set of platform, implementation and integration technologies
• Experience with patterns: Event-Driven Architecture, Event Sourcing, CQRS, Stream Processing
• Strong analytical skills
• Efficient communication skills.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to influence and negotiate

Beneficial:

• Experience with technologies: JSON, REST, HTTP, Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Elastic search, front-end JavaScript library like React/Angular, CSS
• Amazon Web Services Platform & Services: MSK, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, API Gateway, S3
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or similar
• Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment such as Scrum
• Experience/knowledge of the commercial software development business
• Experience working within an enterprise architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman)
• Experience with modelling techniques/frameworks (e.g. ArchiMate, UML)
• Enterprise Architecture Certification
• Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)
