Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect / Presales Data Centre to design and propose enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Account Managers and Data Centre specialists to understand customer requirements and translate business needs into scalable, technically sound solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in Servers, Storage, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Virtualization, VDI, Backup, and Disaster Recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Account Managers to conduct technical discovery sessions with customers.
Understand the customer's existing IT infrastructure, business requirements, challenges, and future technology roadmap.
Design end-to-end Data Centre infrastructure solutions covering:
Servers and Storage
Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
Virtualization
Desktop Virtualization (VDI)
Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR)
Design and propose Nutanix HCI solutions, including AHV, Prism, and Files.
Develop solutions based on VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and related virtualization technologies.
Design VDI solutions using platforms such as Citrix and VMware Horizon.
Develop Storage, Backup, and Disaster Recovery architectures using relevant technologies.
Lead technical discussions and define success criteria for Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BoM) covering hardware, software licenses, and required services.
Collaborate with OEMs, Account Managers, and internal technical teams to develop appropriate solutions.
Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert during customer presentations and solution discussions.
Present technical architectures and explain complex technology concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, technically feasible, and aligned with customer requirements.
Support the sales team throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from technical discovery to proposal and closure.

Required Skills & Expertise

10-15 years of experience in Technical Presales, Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Data Centre Infrastructure.
Strong expertise in Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), particularly Nutanix.
Hands-on knowledge of Nutanix AHV, Prism, and Files or equivalent HCI platforms.
Strong experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Knowledge of Red Hat virtualization and infrastructure technologies.
Experience designing VDI solutions using Citrix or VMware Horizon.
Strong understanding of SAN/NAS Storage environments.
Experience with Backup and DR solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity, or similar technologies.
Good understanding of enterprise server infrastructure and major server OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and SMC.
Strong understanding of enterprise Data Centre architecture and infrastructure components.
Ability to prepare accurate BoMs and technical proposals.
Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to convert complex business and technical requirements into practical infrastructure solutions.
Strong collaboration skills with Account Managers, sales teams, OEMs, and technical stakeholders.
High attention to detail and ownership of technical solution design.
