Key Responsibilities:
- Design microservices architecture and service boundaries
- Define API contracts and communication patterns
- Technology stack decisions and standards
- Security architecture and compliance
- Performance and scalability planning
- Code reviews and architectural guidance
Technical Skills:
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Redis
- Cloud: AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, ElastiCache)
- Integration: REST APIs, GraphQL, Kafka/SQS
- Security: JWT, OAuth, RBAC/ABAC patterns
- Monitoring: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana
Must-Have:
- Proven experience designing distributed systems
- Healthcare/supply chain domain expertise
- Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design
- Experience with event-driven architectures
Good to have:
- AI-assisted development experience (Cursor AI/ Claude code/ Copilot)
- Define AI development standards and best practices
- Review AI-generated code for architectural compliance
- Establish code quality gates for AI-assisted development
- Mentor team on effective AI tool utilization
