Job Description
An SCF Architect to manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.
About the Role
Years of experience needed – 10+ yrs
Responsibilities
- Mandatory Functional Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Finance and/or Trade Finance within large global banks or specialist SCF platforms.
- Experience with Receivables Finance, Invoice Discounting, Dynamic Discounting, Distributor Finance, and Pre-shipment Finance
- Strong SCF/Trade Finance experience is mandatory
- Prior hands-on experience as SME, Product Owner, or Functional Architect on at least one major SCF platform implementation
- Experience with regulatory compliance in SCF: AML/KYC for trade, FATF guidance, IFRS 9, Basel capital implications
- Experience in greenfield build or large-scale replacement of SCF / Trade Finance systems
- Strong understanding of SCF accounting, P&L attribution, funding mechanics, and capital treatment
- Solid understanding of open-account trade, documentary trade (LC, Collections), and the interplay with SCF products
Qualifications
- Technical & Architectural Skills
- Ability to produce detailed functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, data models, and API contracts
- Understanding of event-driven architecture, message queuing, and distributed systems concepts
- Experience with API-first and microservices architecture from a functional/domain perspective
- Experience with Agile / SAFe delivery — writing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
Required Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Finance and/or Trade Finance
- Strong SCF/Trade Finance experience
- Experience with regulatory compliance in SCF
Preferred Skills
- Experience in greenfield build or large-scale replacement of SCF / Trade Finance systems
