We design, build, and maintain B2B/B2C omni-channel commerce ecosystems — integrating platforms such as Magento / Adobe Commerce with enterprise ERP systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 — for 200+ clients across Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Wholesale. Our Hyderabad engineering centre is the delivery backbone of this work, powered by a people-first culture of learning, collaboration, and AI-accelerated engineering.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Solution Architect to own the end-to-end technical design of a regulated, multi-channel B2C commerce platform spanning Magento / Adobe Commerce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Store Commerce POS, a headless React Call-Centre SPA, and React Native mobile apps, with delivery and payment integrations.

This is a load-bearing role: you translate business and compliance requirements into a robust, scalable architecture, govern a tightly integrated ecosystem, and guide development and QA teams to deliver against demanding non-functional requirements. You will work in a senior-weighted, AI-accelerated delivery model where architectural decisions directly protect the estimate, the timeline, and the compliance posture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture & Technical Design

• Design the future-state architecture across storefront, integration, POS, headless SPA, and mobile layers.
• Define multi-store / multi-website / multi-region architecture (multiple regions and price books, bilingual / RTL storefronts).
• Architect the headless commerce layer (GraphQL API gateway, SPA + mobile consumption patterns).
• Establish performance and scalability architecture against NFRs (sub-3s page load, sub-2s POS UI, high concurrency, 99.9% uptime).
• Evaluate third-party extensions vs. custom development based on risk, scalability, and total cost.

2. Integration Architecture

• Own the integration architecture between Magento, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, and Store Commerce POS, built on the productized i95Dev Connect D365 ↔ Magento pack.
• Design integration contracts (order lifecycle, inventory sync, region-based pricing, customer master, promotions, returns/cancellations, tax/e-invoice sync) with JSON schema specifications, retry logic, and error handling.
• Design resilient, event-driven patterns (Azure Service Bus, webhooks) with idempotency and rate-limit management.
• Coordinate integration feasibility with the client's ERP partner and external vendors (payments, delivery, tax authority).

3. Compliance & Security Architecture

• Architect regulated-commerce workflows: age-gated verification (OTP/ID), deposit handling, digital receipts, and e-invoicing / tax-authority integration.
• Own the PCI-DSS scope strategy (hosted payment pages, data isolation), GDPR data-residency posture, and security & observability design.

4. Technical Leadership & Delivery Governance

• Chair the Architecture Review Board; provide architectural guidance to Tech Leads, developers, and QA.
• Lead architecture validation workshops and design walkthroughs; act as the escalation point for technical risk.
• Define technical standards, code-review discipline (including review of AI-generated code before merge), and integration patterns.
• Own critical-path technical risks (ERP data extraction feasibility, vendor/API readiness, integration dependencies).

5. Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement

• Produce the future-state architecture document, integration contracts, headless SPA blueprint, multi-website architecture, and security design.
• Present solution designs and architectural decisions to client business and technical stakeholders; facilitate requirement validation and scope clarification.
• Support pre-sales / scoping initiatives where required (effort estimation, technical proposal input).

Required Skills & Experience

1. 8+ years overall software engineering experience, with 5+ years in solution / technical architecture.
2. Deep, hands-on architecture experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce (multi-store, multi-website, catalog, checkout, GraphQL, Hyvä Theme, Redis/Varnish/Elasticsearch).
3. Strong experience designing ERP ↔ eCommerce integrations, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O / BC) and middleware patterns (Azure Service Bus, OData, batch/data entities).
4. Solid understanding of API architecture (REST + GraphQL), OAuth 2.0, webhook/event-driven flows, and data-synchronization strategies.
5. Experience architecting headless / decoupled storefronts and at least familiarity with React-based SPA and React Native consumption.
6. Proven design ownership of non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, availability, observability, and security.
7. Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with regulated commerce (age-gated products, e-invoicing / tax-authority integration, PCI-DSS scope management).
2. Exposure to Store Commerce / POS integration and multi-region pricing models.
3. Experience with bilingual / right-to-left (RTL) storefronts (e.g., Arabic).
4. Exposure to payment gateways (e.g., Cybersource) and delivery/logistics platforms.
5. Prior solution-consulting or pre-sales experience.
6. Relevant certifications (Adobe Commerce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure Solutions Architect).

Qualifications & Education

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Architecture or cloud certifications preferred.

Working Model & Expectations

1. Hyderabad-based, with EST-overlap collaboration for US/international stakeholders.
2. On-site discovery / architecture workshops at client locations as required.
3. AI-accelerated engineering workflow (Claude Code, Cursor, Playwright Codegen); senior review of AI-generated artifacts is a non-negotiable part of the role.
4. Strong written and spoken English.
