Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect with extensive expertise in Java, Spring Boot, application security, microservices, event-driven architecture on AWS, Kafka. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing scalable and secure applications while mentoring a talented team of developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Application Security: Develop and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Cloud Solutions: Architect and deploy applications on AWS, leveraging services such as ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others.

Event-Driven Architecture: Design and implement event-driven systems using Kafka to enable real-time data processing and communication between services.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices in software development and architecture.

Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment across the team.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance system performance and security.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural role.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.

Extensive experience with microservices architecture.

Strong knowledge of application security principles and practices.

Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.

Familiarity with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
