Job Description

Role Summary

The Solution Architect plays a strategic front-end role in a System Integration and Services organization. This role leads early customer engagements, builds executive mindshare, and translates customer business and operational needs into portfolio-ready solutions. The position combines deep presales expertise, strong Network Operations Center (NOC) and network automation knowledge, Intelligent Engineering Services, and the ability to ensure seamless continuity from customer intent to solution delivery, particularly for Level-4 Autonomous Network transformations with Tier-1 and Tier-2 MNOs and CSPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own initial customer engagements during presales, shaping solution vision, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps
  • Build and sustain executive mindshare through consultative, outcome-driven discussions with customer leadership
  • Understand customer operational environments, including NOC workflows, and define automation and closed-loop use cases
  • Map customer requirements to the organization's product, platform, and services portfolio
  • Ensure clear and structured transfer of customer context, solution intent, and assumptions to CTO Office Portfolio Managers and delivery teams
  • Lead and deliver executive-grade demos for New Product Introductions, Customer Experience Centers, and customer briefings
  • Represent the organization at major customer, industry, and marketing events as a solution and domain expert

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

  • Definition and articulation of Level-4 Autonomous Network and Cognitive NOC solution visions for Tier-1 and Tier-2 MNOs and CSPs
  • Conversion of customer operational pain points into automation- and autonomy-driven solution roadmaps
  • Quality, clarity, and reusability of solution architectures aligned to Intelligent Engineering Services and network modernization programs
  • Executive stakeholder confidence and mindshare during strategic automation and autonomy engagements
  • Effectiveness of solution-to-portfolio handover for large-scale automation and Cognitive NOC programs
  • Adoption and scalability of closed-loop automation and network intelligence use cases
  • Contribution to CTO Office thought leadership, solution evolution, and differentiation in autonomous network engagements

Experience and Attributes

  • 15+ years of experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, Consulting, or Network / IT Transformation roles
  • Strong experience in System Integration and Services environments across telecom, enterprise, or digital infrastructure domains
  • Hands-on or advisory experience with Network Operations (NOC), OSS, and network automation / AIOps
  • Proven ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders and drive large, complex service-based engagements

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of NOC operations, OSS, and managed services environment
  • Experience with network automation, AIOps, closed-loop automation, and autonomous network concept
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skill
  • Ability to bridge customer needs with portfolio strategy and system-integration-led solution deliver
  • Strong collaboration skills across presales, portfolio management, engineering, delivery, and marketing team
