About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Architect who is equal parts technologist, trusted advisor, and people leader. This is not a back-office design role - you will be the face of our technical practice, sitting across the table from clients, deeply listening to their challenges, and translating them into elegant, scalable solutions. You thrive in ambiguity, communicate with clarity, and lead with empathy.
What You'll Do
Client Advisory & Consulting
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key client engagements, building long-term trusted advisor relationships
- Lead discovery workshops and structured listening sessions to deeply understand client pain points, business goals, and constraints
- Translate complex business problems into actionable technical roadmaps and solution blueprints
- Present recommendations to executive stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and business context - not just technical jargon
- Navigate difficult conversations around scope, feasibility, and trade-offs with professionalism and tact
Technical Architecture
- Design end-to-end solutions spanning cloud infrastructure, application architecture, integrations, and data flows
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and patterns that align with client maturity, budget, and long-term strategy
- Create and own architecture artifacts - diagrams, decision records, solution briefs, and technical specifications
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements
- Partner with engineering teams to validate designs and support implementation hand-off
Leadership & Mentoring
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior architects, developers, and QE engineers across engagements
- Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and client-first thinking within delivery teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery, product, and business development stakeholders to drive engagement success
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing through design reviews, tech talks, and documented patterns
- Act as a mentor and thought partner for team members navigating complex technical decisions
What You Bring
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical consulting
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering enterprise-grade solutions across diverse industries
- Experience working in a consulting, professional services, or client-facing advisory capacity
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OCI), APIs, Microservices, and integration patterns
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional active listening and discovery skills - you ask the right questions before jumping to solutions
- Ability to communicate at multiple levels: whiteboard with engineers, present to C-suite
- Strong written communication skills for architecture documents, proposals, and executive summaries
- Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority - influencing through credibility and trust
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple concurrent client engagements
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AI/ML, agentic systems, or automation platforms
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, insurance)
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Google Professional Architect, etc.)
