Description

We are seeking a Data Presales Lead to drive presales activities for data engagement solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, GCP and modern data technologies, and be able to respond to RFPs and RFIs effectively.

As a Data Presales Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping Bristlecone's data engagement solutions and strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to lead presales activities, working closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions. You will be the go-to expert for data-related technologies, ensuring that our proposals and responses to RFPs and RFIs are technically sound and aligned with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales activities for data engagement solutions, working closely with the sales team.
• Develop and present technical proposals and solutions to customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring timely and accurate submissions that showcase Bristlecone's capabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the data space, particularly Databricks, Snowflake, GCP and modern solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and create compelling value propositions.
• Conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations and workshops to showcase the value of our data engagement solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to position our solutions effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive successful presales engagements.
• Document and share best practices and lessons learned from presales activities to continuously improve our processes.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a presales or solution architecture role, preferably in the data or analytics domain.
• Strong technical expertise in Databricks, Snowflake ,GCP and other modern data technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of successful presales engagements, including RFP and RFI responses.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to quickly understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in data engagement and analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, GCP or other relevant data technologies are highly desirable.
