Solutions Architect

The Role

As Solution Architect, you own the data and platform side of every enterprise implementation. You are the deep expert on client data ecosystems and on the Bluecopa platform — architecting how fragmented, multi-source enterprise data is transformed and mapped into the unified data spine, then guaranteeing its completeness, accuracy, and auditability at the scale that reconciliations demand. You set the technical standard for how Bluecopa onboards and trusts enterprise data.

What You'll Own

• Data understanding & platform expertise — Be the authority on client data ecosystems and on Bluecopa's platform and unified data spine, and architect how source data maps into native platform constructs.
• Data transformation — Design ingestion, transformation, and mapping pipelines that standardize multi-source enterprise data (ERPs, billing systems, banks, GL and subledgers) into the platform model.
• Data completeness & accuracy — Own data quality — the completeness, integrity, and accuracy of ingested data at scale, across high-volume reconciliations.
• Data audit controls — Build data lineage, validation rules, and reconciliation checks that make the data feeding finance workflows fully trustworthy and auditable.
• Schema & solution design — Author functional specs, entity-relationship diagrams, and schema-mapping documents; profile and validate multi-million-row datasets in SQL.
• Reusability & standards — Establish reusable data-mapping accelerators and documentation standards, and mentor mid-level team members on the platform and data craft.

• 100% data accuracy and completeness on ingested datasets at go-live.
• 100% reconciliation match rate validated before go-live.
• Measurable reduction in time-to-onboard each new client data source.
• 100% data-lineage and audit-control coverage; zero unexplained data discrepancies in production.

What You Bring

• 6+ years in solution architecture, data engineering, data analytics, or functional data consulting — within enterprise B2B SaaS, fintech, or product environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL to profile, audit, and validate multi-million-row financial datasets; experience with Python or R is a plus.
• Proven ability to design entity-relationship diagrams and map fragmented enterprise sources into unified, scalable data models.
• Hands-on experience with the data structures of enterprise ERPs and billing systems.
• Expertise in data quality, validation, lineage, and audit controls.
