SAP Expert Warehouse Management (WM) & Yard Management (YM)

Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP WM and/or SAP EWM, with hands-on exposure to Yard Management
- Strong analytical skills with domain experience in Manufacturing / Automotive industry

Technical Knowledge:
- IDocs, BAPIs, Enhancements, BADIs
- Strong understanding of Fiori apps for warehouse and yard operations
Good-to-Have Skills:
- SAP EWM Automation / MFS
- SAP Transportation Management (TM) for end-to-end logistics flow
- SAP certification in EWM or Supply Chain modules
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP WM/EWM and Yard Management solution design for automotive warehousing and logistics operations
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust warehouse and yard configurations
- Configure warehouse structures, strategies (Putaway, Picking), warehouse tasks, and handling unit processes
- Design and implement yard operations including gate processes, yard planning, dock management, and trailer tracking
- Manage integration with production processes including:
- Line feeding (KANBAN, JIT/JIS)
- Staging and backflush processes
- Replenishment triggers
- Support complex inbound logistics workflows such as sequencing, supplier ASN handling, and automotive labeling
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless warehouseproductionshipping process flow
- Design, develop, and optimize RF/mobile scanning solutions for warehouse operations
- Perform system testing, UAT, cutover planning, and provide go-live support
- Troubleshoot operational issues and drive continuous process improvements
- Create process documentation, SOPs, training materials, and conduct end-user training
- Collaborate with logistics teams to improve visibility, reduce dwell time, and optimize material flow
