Job Responsibilities
As an Insurance Solutioning Associate, you will play a key role in understanding the data science and analytics needs of our prospects, creating tailored solutions that highlight our technical capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with potential clients, and actively contribute to the conceptualize-design-sell-win process.
Your role will entail:
- Client Engagement & Solution Design: Work closely with potential clients to understand their business challenges, contributing to the entire conceptualize-design-sell-win process.
- Research & Strategy Development: Conduct in-depth research within the problem space to gain a comprehensive understanding, then design customized data and analytics strategies that address client needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, translating client requirements into tailored data and analytics solutions.
- Project Roadmap & Stakeholder Buy-in: Demonstrating proficiency in estimating and aligning a realistic end-to-end data science project roadmap, ensuring buy-in from respective internal and client stakeholders
- Storytelling & Communication: Weaving compelling storytelling through data, translating intricate analyses into stories that align with the specific needs and aspiration of the prospective clients.
- Business Influence: Exhibiting a keen understanding of business needs and challenges, with the ability to translate technical insights into business value, positioning yourself as a strategic partner in decision making. Articulating complex data science problems in a clear and concise manner, ensuring a shared understanding among diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Bridging the communication divide between technical and non-technical stakeholders by customizing messaging to suit diverse audiences. Demonstrating exceptional proficiency in business communication and persuasion, effectively influencing key decision-makers with the advantages stemming from our Data Science solutions
Skills Required
Domain Expertise:
- Strong experience in executing data science projects within the Insurance industry.
- Deep understanding of insurance-specific challenges, risk modeling, and analytical applications.
AI/ML Expertise:
- Hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling with a solid grasp of advanced analytical techniques.
- Ability to apply AI/ML solutions to real-world insurance use cases.
Project Execution & Management:
- Proven track record in delivering end-to-end data science solutions, managing the full lifecycle from problem definition to deployment.
- Minimum 2-3 years of direct client engagement, translating business needs into impactful data-driven solutions.
Tools & Visualization:
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Power BI, and similar tools for clear and compelling data storytelling.
Preferred Qualification
- Hold a master's or bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
